Using the line from Jeff Foxworthy was the perfect way to start this today.
It is January, a time of year that is typically very cold. And when it is cold there is really not a lot to do. I could go skiing, but I am really not that in to it. What else you can do is go and watch Lawn Mower Races on the lake. That is when you take your lawn mover soup it up with a better motor, remove the deck, and tires, and a wheelie bar. And you have got a racing mower.
Here we have races on the lake. Yes, on the lake. I do not go out on the frozen lake. Especially when you have this many cars and trucks in such a small area. The weather was really crappy. It was raining. Yes, raining in January. Which made it really hard to get any really good pictures.
We found a nice place to sit and be warm and dry to watch the races. Sometimes it got a little boring as you can see by my little mans face He really wanted to be out on the ice and watch. But with the rain also came sleet. And if you have ever been out when it is sleeting. It hurts really bad when it hits your face.
We still had a good time and there will be another on coming up within the next month. Hoping the weather will be better and just maybe I will go out on the ice.

That looks like fun but I'm with you on not standing on the lake. And sleet? Yep, definitely better to watch from inside.
