Nothing Important

I am so tired. And by the time Monday rolls around who knows how tired I will still be. This past month has been nothing but running and prepping for events. This weekend is the same we have my grandmothers Birthday party and that same day we need to go to my husbands grandmothers for her annual pool party......but wait there is more Jim has been helping some friends with a Derby Car so we need to go and watch it that evening. One long day ahead of us will be able to do it all who knows. I am going to try. Then Sunday there is a Auction all that know me I love to got to them. One persons trash is another mans (in my case woman) treasure.

Here is the best here's your sign line of the week
My girlfriend and I went to the liqueur store to get beer for her sons grad party last Saturday and we come out with a cart full and this gentleman looks at me and says "Having a party?" "I just looked at him and said no this is a normal night for us." and walked a way laughing.

Have a great day.

Show and tell

For SHOW AND TELL this week I would share one of my best treasures in the planet. My SISTERS. There is me Sarah, A, and S( due to privacy issues I only use their Initials.) I am the oldest by 12 yrs to A and about 7 years to S. Then, there is S. She is the smart, talented, stylish one. She is the one who got me interested in Blogging.

A, is the youngest(don't call her the baby though) she is the hip, youthful one, goofy and silly.

We all have different personalities, and look very different. S, is very expressive in her blogs tells it how she sees it and A is so busy working that she has a hard time just stopping to smell the roses. We are all very outspoken thanks to our mother.

I am very thankful to have them in my life and sometimes I do not express it as much as I should. So, I felt I would today for all to see.

Odds

Today started off as a normal Monday for me. My boss John B. instructed me that I was needed on the drill. That was nothing new. After drilling for about an hour he came over to me and said" Sarah, what are the odds that three people who work for the same company and work to gether in the same department all have parents who are suffering from a terminal illness." I stood there in shock of the odds of that. To think about it was amazing. My boss just learned that his mother was also diagnosed with lung cancer. Then, there is my lead John H. whose mother has brain cancer.
We talked about it briefly. But, I was just sad for him knowing what I am going through and knowing what John H. was going through you just do not want anyone else to deal with such a thing.
I just wanted to share please pray for all involved.
Thank you.

Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday hosted by Kelli .

I have been so excited about this weeks show and tell I wanted to share my favorite animal. If you notice I changed my header to have a Moose on it so if you could not guess I love the Moose. If you ask my husband he would say I was obsessed with the Moose. I first started to like the Moose when we wanted to do a cabin like decor in our previous home.

So I began with little thing that we more cabin like. But, for some reason I only picked items that had a moose on it. So the first picture you see are of the valances that I picked up for my kitchen windows. On the bottom they have a moose pattern.

This is my Moose Bird Feeder Now any one in there right mind would put this outside. Oh, no not me it needs to hang in the house.( isn't it cute)
My Moose clock. I picked this up years ago at a cabin supply store in Wis. Now I want you to note thew color on the wall behind this it is called "Moose Antler". this is where my husband said I was getting obsessed. Now I tried to limit my moose collection only to the kitchen but it some how spread throughout the house.

My picture of a Moose with palm trees. This also hangs in my kitchen. The sconces have Moose ornaments hanging from Christmas. But, they do not look christmasy so I leave them up year round.

Now we have some of my stuffed mooses. My news moose just came to me from Alaska. The big one sings christmas songs and its head moves the kids love that.

Here is my Moose rack from that I received from a friend of mine. It is about 40+ years old but it looks great on my wall. One of my friend at work made the plaque that is holding it.

Thank you for coming and visiting my show and tell. Do not forget to visit others at Kellishouse.

Words to Melt Your Heart

Earlier this week I heard the best words from my son. See I had just got a new night gown and it kind of looks like a dress. So, when I put it on my son (who is 5) said to me "Mom, your BEUTIFUL. (I missed spelled it to get the effect of how it sounded when he said it). I just looked at him and said thank you honey. See doesn't that melt your heart. With all the bad things we hear about kids these days this just makes you smile.

Show and Tell

Welocome to show and tell. This was an Idea that I came across one day when I was looking at other blogs out there. The host of Show and tell is Kelli.

This week fo rmy show and tell is my new dresser. I love going to auctions and the treasures that you find are great. Sometimes I wish my house was bigger just soI could buy all the beautiful furniture. But since it is not I have to pick and choose carefully.

This dresser is so nice that it just could not pass it up. It does need some new knobs because there are some missing. ( the little hand behind it is my wonderful boy being silly)

Missing Something

Like all families we have to go on little errands. Ours was to the hardware store to get new blades for the lawnmower. While there the kids asked for some candy. I gave in and purchased each their own bag.

After we stopped by Jim's brothers house to drop off our portacrib. Michael runs upstairs and shows me that he lost his tooth while trying to open the bag with his teeth. He had commented that his tooth was loose just the other day I guess it was looser than we thought. I asked him where the tooth was he did not know because it just poped out. We just wanted to share.

Train

Here is an old STEAM ENGINE train that went by our home today. We were very lucky to see it. I learned that this train comes by once a year to two years. All depends on who you talk to. The kids really enjoyed seeing this so we thought we would share.
